Taste of the Trail – November, 7 2020

Chairs look back at the Taste of the Trail 2018 Success

The biennial “Taste of the Trail” event was a major source of revenue for the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum. Your generous participation in last year’s fundraiser is greatly appreciated for the Museum’s continued success. The Museum continues to explore ways to reach out to the community and enhance our patron’s museum experience.

The renovation and repurposing of the historic (c. 1880) English-German School, purported to be one of Cuero’s first schools, is a valuable addition to the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum Complex. The schoolhouse will serve Cuero and the surrounding areas with educational, environmental, and historic programming as well as “hands-on” projects for young and old alike. A portion of the proceeds from last year’s “Taste of the Trail” will be applied toward this worthwhile project.

It is our sincere hope that you will consider being a significant part of the future success of the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum by becoming a Classic Movie Sponsor for the 2020 “Taste of the Trail” fundraiser. We enjoyed rolling out the red carpet for you!
