Free Admission with H-E-B Explore More!

Visit the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum at no cost during November and December 2025!

Thanks to the H-E-B “Explore More” program, all guests can visit the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum for free beginning November 1 through December 31, 2025 during normal museum hours, Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4:30pm.

In addition to the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum, the Explore More program covers admission to 8 other Gulf Coast museums including The Texas Zoo, the Children’s Discovery Museum of the Golden Crescent, the City by the Sea Museum, and the Matagorda County Museum,  the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History, the South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center, The Art Museum of South Texas and the Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures and Education Center.

Visitors of the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum may explore the Ranching Heritage of the Guadalupe Valley exhibit as well as the “Life on the Fence” exhibition on display through the holidays. Families are invited to participate in a museum scavenger hunt, picnic on the park-like campus and tour our restored 1880s school house and Victorian home.
